First, welcome to my garden, set at the far end of a tiny cul de sac… It is not a large garden.
With zero experience I started with a few daffodils here and there until I realised I could have something beautiful to look at all year long.
Gardening has become my passion and for over 15 years I am still learning everyday. I am self taught and have had blunders along the way…
The garden has an abundance of beautiful trees, flowers, brushes and roses. With many places to sit, relax and enjoy.
The path takes you away from reality into your inner child. Inspired by C.S. Lewis, Grimm Brothers, Spiritually & Art.

We run unique workshops in creative garden design to small groups of people in a unique garden.

Why Do IT
Making A Garden is for anyone interested including beginners to gardening. Especially small gardens and city gardens. We have our workshops, with some specially designed to give you suggestions and ideas, to demonstrations and practical hands on gardening as well as tips on cutting costs and gardening on a budget.
Make the start and join in on making your garden beautiful. I look at my garden as another room in my home. Crazy, obsessed maybe..but I love and enjoy being in the middle of it all.
At the start there was lots of instant gratification. Just buying lots of stuff that cost a fortune. I often learnt the hard way that in order to get each plant to thrive we need to take the time to look after each plant, shrub etc. to see the benefits each brings to our garden.
Gardening is known to help with stress and anxiety. I know that is why I got hooked – it has lead me down a path of escapism and focusing on the here and now. Gardens take on their own natural world and it’s amazing to see all the different species come through. From hearing and seeing your first bumble bee at the start of Spring to being chased down the path by a wasp at the end of Summer is exciting.
