Getting to know your own garden & making a start

This workshop will be all about where your garden is now and why it’s important to look ahead to future seasons.

Making a Spring Garden

Spring is a special season with plenty of work to be done in the garden. No matter how small your garden is, there is always room to grow something special. I will bring you round my garden which is not large, but filled with many different varieties of trees and shrubs and hopefully give you ideas on what you would love in your own garden and the unique ways to make your garden your own joy and happiness.

We will explore

  • Creative thoughts on sitting areas, wildlife patches, pathways etc.
  • Propagation & Cutting – an excellent way to save money on plants and roses etc.
  • Hands-on workshop on cuttings of roses & geraniums.

I hope this informal workshop will be a fun day to learn a bit more about gardening and its importance to wildlife, environment and our own wellbeing.

Practical Information

The workshop includes tea/coffee & treats, and all materials used.
